Reads like someone's diary but it does give you a good idea of the difficulty of the hike down the canyon. Kind of felt like I was reading someone's Facebook posts.
I throughly did enjoy it and never realized what a grueling trip that really is. I even had considered doing it before but not I would certainly do other exciting things. The book was well written though, interesting, comical at times and very interesting.
